December 1, 2021During the weekend-long activities of 27-29 Nov, PACJA Executive Director, Mithika Mwenda led Young Digital Activists promoting climate justice, Meru County University Students Association (MECUSA) and local community members to plant indigenous tree seedlings on the river banks of Ura River and Ugoti and Giika Swamps.
MECUSA membership is drawn from universities in Meru County. As part of their efforts to contribute to locally-led climate action, MECUSA with support from PACJA will continue growing trees in the County to contribute to climate change mitigation..
