March 25, 2022Led by Benson Simba, the head of the African Activists on Climate Justice (AACJ), the team has already toured partners in South Africa and are now headed into Mozambique. This mission is a continuation of other earlier country level missions that were initiated in the 2021.
Housed under the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, the AACJ Project is a five-year programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The programme is being implemented in eight African countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique, Senegal, Somalia, and South Africa with the goal of amplifying and uniting the voices in Africa demanding that the most vulnerable groups- Women, Youth, and local indigenous communities in the target countries and beyond have capacity to defend and realize their human rights and live a dec
The Consortium outlook in Target Countries
Natural Justice is the lead consortium member for AACJ South Africa. Other consortium members include:

Outcomes
- The Mission will be an introductory visit and will for as a basis to inform PMU on how to structure and tailor support towards the AACJ implementing countries
