John Bonds Bideri

John Bonds Bideri is a Rwandese with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture from the Martyrs’ University in Uganda and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science degree in International Development and Public Administration (MIDA) with the Andrews University (USA) and with various other qualifications and trainings.

Bideri has over 30 years’ experience first as a Secondary School Teacher, an Instructor and Vice Principal of the Limuru Boys Centre, a Training Officer with the Hanns Seidel Foundation attached to Kenya National Farmers Union and Later Kenya Small Scale Farmers Association, an Executive Director of Rwanda Rural Rehabilitation Initiative (RWARRI). He has been working in this position for the last 20 years.

He has also served in different boards, among them as Chairman of Work Force Development Authority (WDA) a Government of Rwanda institution responsible for the promotion of Technical and Vocational training in the country (2010), Chairman of Participatory Ecological Land use Management (PELUM) organization operating in 10 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa with the head office in Lusaka, Zambia (2008), and as a co-chair of the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA).
